Wasted my time. I was chasing them! Over about 5 days. Sending payslips after payslips. They knew my part exchange circumstances. Basically said the £18,000 finance car was in place. Then turned around and said you might have to look at a £10,000 car. Um no, and thanks for wasting my time carmoney. Not very professional at all. I wouldavoid.

Poor customer service, once contract is signed you get nothing more from this company. Surprised they get any work done as they are always in meetings. Worse part is when they putthe phone down on you when you are on hold

A shocking service blocked my emails promises to ring ack but never do manager won’t talk to me on the phone I recommend someone and we was want to get £100 each been 8 weeks and still nothing never ever using this company again this will be deleted like all the other bad reviews

Cooperation with the broker was wrong from the very beginning. My frustration began to grow as they ruled for new documents every day, charging lender for it. The whole procedure took about a week of time. When almost everything was taken care of, they suddenly broke off contact with me. I had to start working with a new broker.

Absolute terrible service told me to put a deposit on a car and arrange to collect the vehicle the lender sent car money the funds and they would not release the funds to the dealership and gave them all the information they needed they have just delayed things so I could not pick up the car won't be using again

Hello, I am sorry you are unhappy with the service you have received. However, as advised, the delay was regarding documentation being sent about a tracker and then ultimately this being fitted. Used the online chat to ask some questions. This says ‘typically replies within a few minutes’ however, I never got a reply. The website doesn’t have clear information on eligibility checks. Eligibility checks took too long compared to other websites. If I’d known this I would have went somewhere else.

I asked carmoney for a quote for a car i wanted to buy and they confirmed no hard search on my credit file would be carried out to do this. I actually went with a different provider in the end. A month later I realised a hard search had been carried out by BMW financial for carmoney to provide the above. I contacted the complaints email twice now in past 2 weeks to get this entry removed and they have totally ignored me.....do not use this company! They lie and do a hard search when they should only do a soft search.

BEWARE, this company does not mention to customers at any stage that a £59.99 admin fee is charged to the dealer and deducted from the funds sent to them, this £59.99 will obviously affect any purchase price agreed with a dealer, its not the dealers fault I chose Carmoney to finance my car so this £59.99 cost will be passed onto the buyer!!

The worse service I have ever received. Took forever for the funds to be transferred to the dealer account and once they have. They sent the wrong amount, too short!! I have had to pay it by myself! Lack of contact after, not answering the phone. Avoid!! Avoid!! Avoid!!

I got accepted over a week ago for car finance I found the car a liked got all the documents filled out revived and email saying congratulations on your new car even though it was sold to someone else the day before. I've now choose another car 2 days ago and I've heard nothing back from anyone I've even sent texts and emails it becoming a joke it's not hard to message someone back

This was 7 minutes after your email. We can also confirm you have been sent documentation regarding the vehicle and you have been in contact with CarMoney regarding this vehicle. i am afraid but you are probably the worse company i have dealt with. Two weeks waiting and the dealer still hasn't been paid. I am about to loose the car now as the dealer is fed up. Wouldn't wish this to my worst enemy. By the way i have already received a contract and a congratulations email for getting my "new shiny car" although i don't even know if i will get the car one day... outrageous!!!

I was told the lender they found said my application was good and high exceptence. 3 days later I was turned down. Be honest with people don't get their hopes up.

I purchased a vehicle in September and only driven it less then 800 miles due to it being unfit for purpose. But now its had major brake failure too. So the dealer who sold it doesn't want a bar of it. Car money washed there hand of it. Oodle car finance are a joke as no responsibility taken by them too. 2 mots 2 engineers reports later they missed a serious defect leading to me losing my brakes while driving with my daughter in the car. So buyers beware do you background checks on these approved dealers

they told me I had a loan and to go find a car wich I did then yhey approved the loan saying go ahead so I did me and the dealer worked together I was told I could pick uup the car the next afternoon so I changed the insurance and other thingsover being charged£ 25pound by the insurance co then I had a phone call the next morning to say sorry but theres been a mistake you can have finance then it cost me another £25 to change my car insuersnce back and £400 repair bill for a mot etc on my old car making me£450 out of pocketso I am very angryand not an apology from carmoney or any compensation for my loss of money ??????????????????????

Accepted in principle, but needed to wait for more checks, which was done by texts. I waited and waited and waited. No definite outcome given as to whether I had been accepted or not. I had to call them the next day to find out, and even then i just got an “ oh yeah I think we could just find amigo loans, (which is 45% apr more then the 8 x Something quote advertised.) Ridiculous!! Will NOT be using again.

Unfortunately, due to your personal circumstances, Amigo Loan was the only finance lender that was available, and it was fully explained why by your sales person. Sending updates via text is the easiest and quickest way to inform the customer, and keep them up to date with what is happening. I am sorry that CarMoney could not offer you a better rate based on your circumstances. As requested, all personal details have been closed off and your credit score will not be affected.

Was keen to try these my credit was just getting to a good place and this company gave my details to alot of companys which carried out hwrd searche reflecting terribly on my credit thanks carmoney try soft searches and if 1 or 2 companys refues dont keep trying for commision

The most bizarre encounter. Started with how much a month can you afford? Said it was dependent on the car I was looking for and also the loan terms and APR rates. Said to find a car and then cut and paste them the link to it and they would then see if it was what they deemed feasible for the loan and they would deal with the dealer and arrange the money. Apparently if the car was too old or a hi-miler the APR rate might vary. So at this point I still didnt know the terms. I opted out in the end as was all too vague and long-winded!!!

Hello Richsrd, I'm sorry you did not have a good experience with CarMoney. Regarding the quotes and APR, they are based on the individual vehicle. Some finance lenders only accept a vehicle of a certain age and mileage. We ask customers to send the link of the vehicle for us to see if the vehicle is suitable for finance, and if we can work alongside the dealership.

I am still waiting to collect my car. Dealer said come on Wednesday evening because car needs to go for final checks... don't understand why car needs 3 days for final checks
