Complaints team will not help you out whatsoever if you have a problem with your car. Worst complaints team I have ever dealt with, a almost non existent so called ‘team’

Good Afternoon David, thank you for your review however we are sorry to see you have scored us 1 star. I can confirm you wished to reject the vehicle however, we did not receive evidence of the faults by means of diagnostic, which is a requirement laid out in our Acknowledgement email. As a result, the dealership would not accept the rejection of the vehicle without evidence, as you saw the vehicle twice and checked the vehicle over. The dealership has agreed to repair the vehicle, at no cost to you, and will keep all persons involved updated. You will continue to be kept updated by our complaint team. I was looking for finance for a car to use for driving tuition purposes, after being rejected by the first lender as they didn’t want to finance a car for that purpose CarMoney said they would find a lender that would finance the car to be used for tuition, they hooked me up with a lender but failed to tell the lender the purpose of the car purchase, it all went well and the dealership were now involved and a holding deposit was paid by myself to hold the car. I signed all the documents and was awaiting notification to collect the car. I decided to double check with CarMoney that the lender were aware of the purpose of the loan and my agent said that they never normally ask and it will be fine……..anyway he then phoned back to say that MoneyBarn were not going to go ahead due to the purpose of the car as they don’t finance tuition cars. My agent from CarMoney was very apologetic and agreed that he remembered our earlier discussion about the intended use of the car and he admitted he was caught out trying to sneak the loan through without being totally truthful! Absolutely raging, now I have no car coming and I am unknowingly involved in “Darren’s” dishonesty!!!!!!

6 months car money have left me in the sh.. after there underwrittters missed things and miss sold me the car still paying 550 a month for a broken car with all the lies and excuses in the world to go with it

Very bad companions. First they sent me to approve. I sent them all the papers. We signed everything, sent the papers to the sellers, who signed it all, and then said that something was wrong and that it was a terrible terrible company, don't take a loan from them.

Have made a review on Trustpilot. It came up as my husband's name, John Pagett, but it was I who dealt with CarMoney, ie. Christine Pagett. No wonder there are no records of phone call from me, Because I tried and tried to get through on the phone, to no avail. I tried at night, early morning and throughout the day. NO-ONE picked up the phone. It is obvious they are not answering the phone. I sent e-mails and only then got a phone call from them,, on the same telephone number!!!!! So their phones did work. I was left to muddle through regarding the documents, as they wouldn't answer the phone. The same when the link they told me to click on, in my email, did not work. I found it on your site luckily. I have no issue with the Finance Company. They have been very efficient and helpful. I do not like the previous reply from CarMoney. It's no way to run a business and talk to customers like that. Don't every go with car money brought a car though them in January it broke down the day after I spent a lot on repairs but the engine was no good I'm been waiting 7 month for my money back and not hearing from them I've lost a lot of money I'm now taking them to court

Great experience at first friendly staff always happy to help but my main concern with this company is I applied for finance for my car, I did keep saying to carmoney i haven’t seen or test driven the car as yet. The reply was don’t worry you can still sort your finance. I was due to see the car on the Friday, unfortunately when arriving to see the car the dealer told me the car was still at MOT station so we would have to wait until tomorrow to see it. Upon driving home I recieved a text from CarMoney to say funds had been transferred to the dealer. I had no calls to ask if everything was ok before the money was transferred I had not seen this car properly or driven it. As it happens the car is a lemon and is now parked on a friends driveway as it won’t drive. Dealer refusing to accept my rejection of the car and I have had to pass it on to the fiancé company to sort out. Which could take up to 8 weeks. So not very happy with the service of this company as been left £4.5k out of pocket with a duff car

Wasted my time. I was chasing them! Over about 5 days. Sending payslips after payslips. They knew my part exchange circumstances. Basically said the £18,000 finance car was in place. Then turned around and said you might have to look at a £10,000 car. Um no, and thanks for wasting my time carmoney. Not very professional at all. I wouldavoid.

Poor customer service, once contract is signed you get nothing more from this company. Surprised they get any work done as they are always in meetings. Worse part is when they putthe phone down on you when you are on hold

A shocking service blocked my emails promises to ring ack but never do manager won’t talk to me on the phone I recommend someone and we was want to get £100 each been 8 weeks and still nothing never ever using this company again this will be deleted like all the other bad reviews

Cooperation with the broker was wrong from the very beginning. My frustration began to grow as they ruled for new documents every day, charging lender for it. The whole procedure took about a week of time. When almost everything was taken care of, they suddenly broke off contact with me. I had to start working with a new broker.

Absolute terrible service told me to put a deposit on a car and arrange to collect the vehicle the lender sent car money the funds and they would not release the funds to the dealership and gave them all the information they needed they have just delayed things so I could not pick up the car won't be using again

Hello, I am sorry you are unhappy with the service you have received. However, as advised, the delay was regarding documentation being sent about a tracker and then ultimately this being fitted. Used the online chat to ask some questions. This says ‘typically replies within a few minutes’ however, I never got a reply. The website doesn’t have clear information on eligibility checks. Eligibility checks took too long compared to other websites. If I’d known this I would have went somewhere else.

I asked carmoney for a quote for a car i wanted to buy and they confirmed no hard search on my credit file would be carried out to do this. I actually went with a different provider in the end. A month later I realised a hard search had been carried out by BMW financial for carmoney to provide the above. I contacted the complaints email twice now in past 2 weeks to get this entry removed and they have totally ignored me.....do not use this company! They lie and do a hard search when they should only do a soft search.

BEWARE, this company does not mention to customers at any stage that a £59.99 admin fee is charged to the dealer and deducted from the funds sent to them, this £59.99 will obviously affect any purchase price agreed with a dealer, its not the dealers fault I chose Carmoney to finance my car so this £59.99 cost will be passed onto the buyer!!

The worse service I have ever received. Took forever for the funds to be transferred to the dealer account and once they have. They sent the wrong amount, too short!! I have had to pay it by myself! Lack of contact after, not answering the phone. Avoid!! Avoid!! Avoid!!

I got accepted over a week ago for car finance I found the car a liked got all the documents filled out revived and email saying congratulations on your new car even though it was sold to someone else the day before. I've now choose another car 2 days ago and I've heard nothing back from anyone I've even sent texts and emails it becoming a joke it's not hard to message someone back

We are sorry that you have had a delay in your response however can confirm the following: You sent CarMoney an enquiry email on Wednesday 19 January 2020 at 1525 and CarMoney replied on Wednesday 19 February 2020 at 1532. This was 7 minutes after your email. We can also confirm you have been sent documentation regarding the vehicle and you have been in contact with CarMoney regarding this vehicle. i am afraid but you are probably the worse company i have dealt with. Two weeks waiting and the dealer still hasn't been paid. I am about to loose the car now as the dealer is fed up. Wouldn't wish this to my worst enemy. By the way i have already received a contract and a congratulations email for getting my "new shiny car" although i don't even know if i will get the car one day... outrageous!!!

I was told the lender they found said my application was good and high exceptence. 3 days later I was turned down. Be honest with people don't get their hopes up.
