Absolutely useless company, dealt with Ellie through the process, they do not want to deal with any problems with the car, car purchased from autotrust ltd car was absolute mess looked lovely when I collected it until I had it washed, paintwork is completely ruined and had been dressed up, they are now trying to tell me I can not return vehicle despite it being dangerous to drive and within the 30 days. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ON RETURNING PURCHASE.

Used car money finance to finance my car on 7 July 2024 service was good with securing the finance but since then had problems with returning the vehicle as it has loads of faults like brake lights and airbag lights, bad bodywork, car money are sticking with the car company and saying I can not return it, they are useless if you get problems with the car at a later date.

Awful service. 3 different agents 3 days hassle. When it came to verifying bank account kept getting an error. 8 x and £8 later still not resolved. How it didn’t verify bank card I have no idea as money was being taken. Got told various reasons for this, none valid reasons. Then they said to go to the dealership and they’d send paperwork to sign. I work, have a caseload of patients, said I had no time, this is when James says “well if you don’t have time to do that how you going to get the car if you’re to busy”. How dare he question my time. I work for the NHS my patients rely on me for mobility and physiotherapy, more important than running round because your systems tell me my bank address differs to your check. Never had the issue before. Very disappointed and would never use this company

I would give these guys a miss if my experience is anything to go by. Found them to be unprofessional. Asked me to sign a document for a 16k car that I didn't want so I could answer some questions, then told me to ignore the text, then deleted it! Be careful is all id say. I may have had a bad experience, they may be good, just tread carefully.

Buying a car is a stressful experience with these people, they have procrastinated, witheld information, sent numerous conflicting emails and made me really ill. They eventually hold cleared funds from the finance company and have made every effort in not forwarding the money to the car dealer to pay for the vehicle. A horrendous stressful experience could never understand any circumstances reccomend

Filled in their online application and was apparently “approved” saying that I had “full acceptance”. Peter called on the same day and seemed really helpful. He said he would call back with an update and was going to “submit” my details and call back (despite apparently having “full acceptance” as from one of their emails). Fast forward 24 hours and no call back so I rang, was told by another agent that he would ask Peter to call me back. Nothing again for 2 days until an email from him and text asking if I’d found the car I wanted?! I’d already gone through another company who was much more efficient and quick at sorting the car finance out. All CarMoney and Peter have done is add a needless hard search on my credit report. Would not recommend or use again. Poor customer service.

Where do I start? Went to CarMoney for finance for Private Hire Taxi as they said they could help me, found me the car I wanted from apparently a "Trusted' dealer, car was 16k, 17 plate Prius Plus advertised at 58444 mileage, had to travel 2 hours on train to collect car on 14/04/24 got to dealership which was a dirty grotty office ( should have known then) . Test drove car all seemed ok, drove 2 hours home. On 16/04/24 car was booked in with my mechanic to be checked over before being inspected by council, soon as car was lifted up to be checked underneath it was clear it had been in an accident, then the milage came into question, service book didn't look genuine, contacted Toyota too see if they had any info on car, and was told by them car was last seen Feb 24 and recorded mileage was 82575, they kindly sent me the proof. Contacted finance company Autolend who then informed me they don't do taxi finance and cancelled the agreement there and then. So not only was I mis sold a car I was mis sold finance. Dealership is refusing to take car back, Carmoney told me car is going to auction and that will be collected asap, that was 2 weeks ago, they are now not taking my calls, Autolend were unaware that car was going to auction. Trading standards are now in possession of dealerships details, complaint put into finance company and now I will be contacting financial ombudsman. I have been told by finance company today that I am still liable for car until they get funds back from dealership ( Woburn Autos)even though they have said they don't have the money. In the meantime I'm left with a car sat on my drive that I can't use for the purpose intended and apparently still liable for payments on a cancelled finance agreement.. My advice DO NOT use CarMoney they are liars and use dodgy dealerships.

3 times recently I applied for car finance through this company and they’re useless. I have lost £150 on deposits on cars that they told me finance had been agreed!!! Completed all the purchase agreements, they’d contacted the dealerships on 2 occasions for them to send their invoice. Signed direct debit mandates, everything as far as myself and the dealership was concerned to go ahead with sale. Cars were MOT’d, serviced and valeted only for either day before or the day I was supposed to collect the car to be told the finance company wanted more info e.g payslip that was already uploaded into their portal, HR email and phone number to do an employment check, which should have been carried out in the first instance, not when you were getting ready to drive 100 mile to pick up your car. I thought MoneyBarn were bad, but these are a close 2nd. Absolutely useless

Beware using this company sales agent told lies selling warranty even when challenged that 3rd party warranties were poor he claimed his warranty covered everything....fast forward few months warranty isn't worth paper it's written on. Now playing hard to get to contact. Very easy to get hold off when they were trying to get you to take loan from them.

If I could award negative stars I would - my experience to date with this company does not deserve any stars!, I can’t quite believe how awful the process has been to date. I purchased a car from a dealership about 3 weeks ago having financed it through Car Money and it experienced mechanical failure within the first week and had to be recovered on a low loader and returned to the dealership. Neither Car Money or the dealership were interested in arranging this return and despite numerous phone calls to both (and waiting the best part of a week to have this seriously faulty car collected) I was still stuck with it and ended up paying £250 out of my own pocket to get it transported back to the dealership. That was two weeks ago and despite a further 20+ calls and texts to Car Money since then they have still not wound back the loan agreement for payed me back my £250 recovery charge or my £100 deposit. I have literally spent hours and hours of my own time trying to get the loan closed and my money returned to me and Car Money are simply not interested. They have hung up on me during calls, transferred me to colleagues who then don’t pick up the phone to me and have promised returned calls which have never materialised. I have never written a negative review for a company in my life before however I felt I had to in this instance as I do not want anyone else to experience what I have gone through and despite my best efforts the loan has still not been unwound and my money has not been returned to me. As such, I am now having to take this matter to the Financial Conduct Authority in order to try and get my money back. I would advise everybody to think long and hard before considering Car Money as a service provider in case you end up with an awful experience similar to what I am still going through. Car Money - shame on you.

A complete and utter waste of time. It started off with the "You have been approved" routine. I submitted a figure I wished to borrow. The "ninja" who I dealt with (who, to be fair, was polite and patient) contacted me regularly to see if I had located a vehicle. I spent several days trying to track something down only to be informed that the vehicle must not exceed a certain age and mileage for me to be approved. I don't have the best credit rating (but remember this organisation claims to be able to overcome this), but it took too long for me to informed of the situation. There was a lock of clarity and cohesion throughout. I met with a reluctance to answer specific questions regarding where I actually stood, like it was almost a secret. After more messing about the "ninja" offered to try and find a vehicle that would meet the mystical "criteria." Of the three vehicles "offered," two didn't meet my specified requirements, and the other was too expensive. I fully appreciate the "ninja! was given a difficult task, but............. On top of this, there was no guarantee of an actual approval. I have previously experienced a scenario such as when dealing with a similar finance broker, but I thought I'd give this one the benefit of the doubt. I wish I hadn't bothered. You are better off finding a car dealer with finance facilities or going to a bank.

Do not answer questions ,only want to control you and sell you a contract, will not put anything in writing ,asked for details of contract did not respond, want you to sign paperwork before you know about any deal. Only want to speak to you on phone so they can record you ,but as hard of hearing it puts you into a difficult position. This is a company who is looking to get you in a corner without explain the details, then you are stuck with very expensive contract you can not get out of. In other words not customer friendly BE VERY CARFUL.

Please everyone double check you can get a better rate, I’ve got an excellent credit rating wanted to finance only 5k, was told best rate I could get was 17.2%! Was not happy about this they told me because it was a cheap car I couldn’t get a better rate! So I rang Auf car finance instead and asked them to source me a lender, got quoted 11.9% from close brothers for the same car same amount of financing and term. Obviously car money get a bigger referral fee for charging people higher interest rate! Just everyone double check you can get a better rate!

Constant pestering through text and phone calls from different people. Asking questions I had already answered I.e " have you collected your car yes or no" I text back numerous times saying yes and they still pestered . I had a phone call from jasmine who works there. Would not let me speak kept talking over me every time I tried to speak. Her attitude was disgusting. wanting signed documents. Documents that had already been signed and sent but they hadnt looked properly for them.Enfuriating! And then also turned out they had made errors on there part which they had admitted to on more than 1 occasion. Still tried to speak and she wouldn't let me. Disrespectful. Wouldn't want her on the phone to me again she is in the wrong job and I hope some sort of management can listen to the calls back to understand where I am coming from and I am sure they will agree with what I am saying. Any other company would have something that needed signing under 1 file but no 9+emails i received going backwards and forwards with documents they kept loosing. Not an organised company in any way shape or form.

Well where do I begin with Car Money, it is a very long and sad story from my part!! I have been dealing with Car Money for around 3 weeks now, the total ineptness and communication between staff, leaves a lot to be desired to be honest. Initially I was informed my full finance application had been accepted, keeping in mind that I informed them my licence had expired due to requiring a medical examination, but I was entitled to drive under I believe Section 88 of the road traffic act, no issues were raised. However, it took so long to administer the finance, that the motorcycle I wanted, was sold. I was advised to 'look for another one' keeping in mind I had spent literally hours over several days finding the one I wanted. I found another bike, dearer in finance, but I went for this, informed car money's Ryan, to be informed I could not have this amount of finance, and my finance was reduced by several thousands of pounds!! Disappointed to say the least, stressed most definitely, again 'look for another bike' I found another bike, the dealer kindly put this aside for me, it again took a great deal of time to get a response from Car Money, to be told, due to the mileage I could not have the finance for the bike, keeping in mind I was not informed of mileage restrictions previously. I had to let the dealer know, how embarrassing for me, and how inconvenient for the dealer. Again the advice, you got it, 'look for another bike' I found another bike, not what I wanted, but I was willing to compromise, I was asked for a code for DVLA to check if I had a full licence, which I do and have done for 15+ years, no issue was raised, until today, some 3 weeks down the line, the lenders are not willing to release the funds, until my licence shows as in date!!!! Questions: why wasn't I told this earlier? Do the staff at Car Money actually know what they are doing? Why have I been wasting so much time, effort, stress etc with this company Car Money? Because I thought they were reliable, and my dream would be fulfilled!! However, this has not happened, I have been left, with another loan to pay, because I needed further finance for the bike, by the way this is a high interest loan!! So Car Money, my advice is, stay well clear, unless you enjoy, stress, you have plenty of time to waste, and you like being disappointed. Car Money Ryan, Rebecca and all other staff involved with my finance application, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!
