I purchased a 2023 plate peugeot partner through carmoney , worst experience ive ever had, they never get back to you, when you phone you either get cut off or waiting 40 miniutes or more, ive probably sent more than 40 emails without response, i had the van delivered on the 13th may on the 14th may i made a complaint as the van was clearly not as described so i rejected the van , was told last week they are waiting for a price to pick the van up and take back to perrys doncaster , its 28th may and still no closer van is still on my drive, avoid this company at all costs mike hughes

I had a very frustrating experience with Carmoney after buying a car through their finance. Within 6 months of purchase, the car broke down and I reported the issue immediately to the warranty provider, Warrantywise, on the same day. The process with them dragged on for weeks with little to no progress, which left me stuck without a proper resolution. When it became clear nothing was moving forward, I contacted Carmoney directly for support. By that point, it was just over the 6-month mark — purely because of the delays in the process — but instead of helping, they focused on the technicality that I had contacted them “after” 6 months. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering the issue itself was reported well within the 6-month period to the relevant parties. To make matters worse, the garage confirmed that the car required a completely new engine due to severe engine failure. Overall, I feel let down by the lack of support and the unwillingness to look at the situation fairly. The focus on technicalities rather than customer care made an already stressful situation even worse. I wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

They are not fit for purpose was told i had finance 3 weeks ago i picked the car theu said they would get back to me on 3 occasions and didnt i hat to keep ringing then i was told the lender wouldn’t lend because the cars too old what a complete waste of my time donot go there to

I am lucky not to get their service. I just checked my eligibility once, and starting recieving absolutely announing calls/messages from next morning at 9am. I explained several times that I do not need their service as I have changed my mind, but these calls/messages have been continuesly bothering me during my work hours. They need to learn how to approach the potential customers.

If I could give 0 star I would this finance company sells cars that shouldn't even be let on the road I've had a car with no cat on and because it was only noticed at the mot which was 7months later as I had no reason to get under it in the mean time. I contacted car money about this and what they advise and now they don't want to help or advise me on anything relating to this matter because I had this car 6months!! So stay clear of this company as you'll be the one out of pocket!

I took a car from CarMoney and And there was an issue with car and I reported it but the manager of the CarMoney complain it’s not friendly at all. So if you are think of taken car from CarMoney think about it wisely

Avoid this company at all cost they just want to put you in debt and have the worst rates of finance available there are far better company’s out there and these are to be avoided at all costs

Terrible experience. Was told my finance was secure with lender signed all documents put down deposit on car and took a day off work to collect car . Dealer was waiting on payment and every time I phone I was advised there wasn’t a problem the payment was due to be transferred. After phone calls over 3 days I was advised by text the finance was rejected. Put through to complaints department and was finally set straight that the finance was never approved. LED down the garden path and wasted a days holiday . If your dealing with them make sure your definitely getting the finance before arranging the car . Wouldn’t recommend

Received call asking if was still looking to go ahead with finance I said yes and they said somebody from team would call back in 5 mins...it's been over 72hours and nothing then I get an email saying if there is no contact from me the application will be cancelled. Poor service

Having reviewed your complaint, we can see on the morning of the 26th of February our team called to advised you would be called back by another member of the team to discuss your finance application. We had then text you to advise we tried ringing your number but couldn't get through. We then rang you another 3 times and text twice to try and get back in touch but had no response from yourself. After sending our standard email to say we would need to close the application due to no response, we received an email back from yourself stating you wanted us to close your application and that you were unhappy with the service provided. We felt we had sufficient attempts to get in contact you with on numerous occasions and through different methods but to no avail. If you would still like us to look into car finance options for youselve we'd more than happy to help. We hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

Please avoid this company at all cost before you sign any contract. They can call you like 100 times a day but if you have any issue with your car, put it in mind that you are alone you called them to tell you stories. They will tell you that they will call you back you will never do. Later a car that have warrant I contacted the dealer and the dealer threaten to beat me. I have to run to the police car. Money told me they can’t help me. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a finance company there was a lot of stuff wrong with the car. They said they can’t help me get my money back unbelievable.

Avoid at all cost. The worst company I have ever come across! Told me I was accepted for finance but any car I wanted I was not aloud for whatever reason, calls were arranged which I also took time out of work to take and I never got a call. Useless company

Terrible brought a car had it 2 days sent it back for repair come back from dealers ok, I requested paper work for repair apparently dont need to give me it. Then had another problem took it for inspection turns out the car needs over £5k of work. So rejecting the vehicle and still waiting quick to take money from you but slow to investigating the issue.

I was told that I had been accepted and had to wait a further week to then be told that I have been declined. Which has wasted a week of my time giving the dealership false information that I have the funds ready and now have nothing to offer. Very shocking customer service as been trying to chase within that week to speak to the same advisor however, they were always busy or dealing with other things. Would not recommend this company to use !

Heart broken, £260 out of pocket because of admin fees . Bought a smart for 2, for my daughter. Car dealers woodchurch cars charged me the sum of £260 as admin fee, . Highly disappointed 😞 , could not enjoy the car thinking 😕 about it. Not the service I expected. Warning dont be rushed buying a car with CARMONEY AGENT..THEY TALK TO FAST AND YOU CAN BE CON TO ACCEPT ...BE CLEAR BEFORE SIGNING AND DEAL .

WARNING! Court Action Pending! In February I used CarMoney website to find a suitable car for me and my family. Following what seemed to be a suitable car the finance package was arranged. On the day of collection, I noted to the garage that the coolant was low and they topped it up. I then submitted a complain to CarMoney within the two week return window as I wanted to keep the car but have the issue resolved, I was assured that because I complained within the return window the issue would be remedied. After 6 months of being sent to different garages and mechanics and still they cannot find the fault, they requested I take it to a VAT registered garage. I took it to a ford specialist where they diagnosed a cracked air cooler. Car Money then wanted to send another independent engineer to my home address for a 30 minute inspection, something they had already done but failed to find the problem. During my investigation I found that CarMoney list cars from a company in Coventry that have a known convicted car salesman, he is still paying his victims compensation of which a judge ordered him to pay 25k. I am writing this review as I can see that CarMoney are still posting cars from the address & postcode despite my compelling evidence against them. DO NOT USE CAR MONEY - PLEASE SEARCH THIS ADDRESS TO SEE THE KIND OF PEOPLE THEY ARE ALLOWING LISTINGS FROM AND PROTECTING Quality Cars and Vans Coventry, 101a Longford Rd, Longford, Coventry CV6 6DY "Search for Gerry/Gurdip Coventry Rogue Trader" in google and you will see. CarMoney have been totally inept, if you have a problem, you will have a NIGHTMARE! Coolant pictures taken 28th Feb > 3rd March > 11th March, this is how fast it depletes. Also included correspondences from both parties. STAY AWAY

Although the customer side was helpful, BEWARE! they use a third party company called LexisNexis who texted me at midnight requesting my passport and other personal documents. This is very unprofessional and disconcerting.
